The Chamber is the voice of Brighton & Hove’s business people. It’s a voice that helps its members build successful businesses and be part of this great city’s community and economy. We connect, we train, we support and we represent our members. Whether you’re a local artist or commercial creative, a mid-sized law firm or part of a global corporate, you’ll find a Chamber that reflects the diverse demographic and unique personality of Brighton & Hove. You’ll find a Chamber that’s good for business. The Chamber relies on a team of volunteer experts who design and co-ordinates the strategy for supporting members. They are busy, successful business people and practitioners in their own right, and they are the creative force and brains behind the brand, technology, events and training. With a healthy mix of gender, business size and sector experience, it's a Chamber that really means something to local business. The Brighton Chamber is a not-for-profit organisation. It's run by members for members. All the money made through projects and events is re-invested back into the Chamber and goes into paying for the four permanent staff members. The Chamber is led by a board of directors which consists of the President, Vice Presidents and three other elected members. Legally, the Chamber is a company limited by guarantee and the President and Vice Presidents are the company directors. All board members are voluntary and non-paid positions.
